God's Forgiveness: Just and Mercifulნიმუში

Making All Things Right
Have you ever wanted revenge? Maybe you find yourself replaying conversations in your head, thinking about how to put someone in their place. It feels logical at the time. You hurt me, I’ll hurt you back—then we’ll be “even.”
But the Apostle, Paul, instructs us in the Bible…
Do not repay anyone evil for evil… live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.
Did you hear that promise? We can trust God to deal justly with all wrongdoing. Though we do not know how or when (it’s really not our business in that sense), we can let go of our desire for retribution. It’s a relief to know—God’s outrage at injustice is even greater than ours.
Only God is qualified to judge perfectly, and He is hard at work making all things right.
Trust Him to make things right for you.
