Real Hope: Learning to Listenნიმუში

Learning To Listen
Read 1 Kings 19:9B-13
Imagine that. Elijah and God just talking. God passes Elijah in wonderous magnificence, but it is the still, small voice that speaks. Elijah listens. Elijah has just had a crazy few days battling with the king and his prophets of Baal, overcoming them and escaping death (read 1 Kings 18 and 19). No wonder he cried out to God!
Jesus says in John 10:27, ‘My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me’ (NIV).
You know that we can speak to God about anything at any time.
Open your Bible, read it, and listen to our God. His still, small voice is waiting to be heard.

About this Plan

As people in a crazy, chaotic world, it’s easy sometimes to speed through life and conversations and to miss the things going on around us. In busyness, we can also miss out on things people and God are trying to tell us. Join us in this plan as we look to cultivate ears to hear and a heart to understand.
