2 Corinthiansნიმუში

Paul appeals to the people of this church to understand why he isn’t visiting just yet. The last time he was there is described as a “painful visit.” There needs to be some time and space to let healing happen between the hard truths Paul had to share, and that they had to hear. It’s a beautiful illustration of God’s grace and unending patience towards us. He is all-knowing, and all-powerful and yet, He will sit and wait with us as we learn from our mistakes. It is this mix of grit and grace that grows our faith deeper and produces, out of real suffering, real joy.
Where in your life are you experiencing this kind of growth? Ask Jesus what you need to surrender to Him. Sit in a moment of silence, recognizing His presence is with you, and His grace will never leave you.

About this Plan

We are going through the book of 2 Corinthians together! We will be reading one chapter every week as we usually do, but this time we have also included devotions and other passages to read on certain days. We hope you will follow along with us as we deep dive into Paul's second letter to the church in Corinth and seek to see what we can learn from it today as we seek to follow Jesus together.
