2 Corinthiansნიმუში

Just like Eve, the Corinthian people were getting distracted by other voices, half-truths, and other temptations pulling them away from the real truth of the Gospel. False prophets had infiltrated with eloquent speaking, money, status, and other attractive things by worldly standards. Because the people weren’t rooted in scripture, many fell victim to these false teachings. Many times when we have too much noise in our life, our minds can become confused and overcrowded. We may be tempted to lean on our own understanding, the opinions of others, and what culture says is right, wrong, good, or bad. Take time today to analyze the voices you allow to dictate your life. Is it rooted in scripture? Does it align with the teaching of Jesus?
How can we minimize the distractions that threaten our “sincere and pure devotion to Christ?”

About this Plan

We are going through the book of 2 Corinthians together! We will be reading one chapter every week as we usually do, but this time we have also included devotions and other passages to read on certain days. We hope you will follow along with us as we deep dive into Paul's second letter to the church in Corinth and seek to see what we can learn from it today as we seek to follow Jesus together.
