What are we so afraid of? Missing a play; kicking a rule; not earning a playoff assignment. Yes to all of these! And yet the Lord reassures us that He is going to be with us through the easy and the difficult times of the season.

When we go through the difficult points of the season: flight delays, tough games, missed crucial calls, where do we turn? Do we cry out to the Lord or do we try to figure it out on our own. Often, we act as the Disciples did - turn away, act terrified, attempt to solve it on our own. The Lord says to them - you have seen all these things, and yet you remain scared. Where is your faith? When we encounter rough spots in the season, let us remember the Lord is with us, carrying us through these hard and difficult times and leading us to the joys of walking with Him on this road of faith.
