A Cry for Changeნიმუში

I HAVE WANDERED FAR AWAY FROM HOME!
When we realise that areas and issues within us are as far removed from God as Israel is from Meschech, we will mourn our pitiful existence!
When areas or issues crop up in our lives that signify ungodly distances between God and us, we need to pray and seek change in our beliefs, values, practices and lifestyle!
Repentant prayer helps us to see we are not a wandering people living aimlessly in the wilderness of Kedar. Repentance allows us to recognize our need to make a complete turn-around and move towards the holiness and goodness of God.
Wise men or women of God direct their sorrow into a lifestyle of repentance that joyfully recognizes moral bankruptcy and the need to embrace the ways and will of God.
Thomas Carlyle, a renowned 19th Century Scottish essayist and philosopher, said: "Of all acts of man, repentance is the most divine. The greatest of all faults is to be conscious of none."
In our distress, therefore, let us consciously examine the shortcomings and sins in our lives and cry out to God for change, knowing that on the other end of our prayer, The Lord Himself waits to embrace, affirm and answer us.
About this Plan

Life with no change for the better stagnates and pollutes itself. It leaves a person with a sense of hopelessness, despair, and frustration. The best hope for any soul is to recognize this despair and frustration within and seek divine help to turn around and transform one's life.
