Be With Me: Five-Day Devotional on God’s Will for Us to Love Each Otherნიმუში

The other day I was waiting in line at the store and there was a gentleman giving the cashier a difficult time. I felt so badly for the worker. I could see sadness wash over him as the customer kept being difficult. I knew that the cashier needed some positivity and kind words. I came up to him and told him that things will get better and that he was doing a great job. I watched joy wash over him and his entire disposition change. I love to see that transformation of people. Today, do your best to show love and kindness to people and watch the transformation. It is truly beautiful.

These are my words of wisdom from God: Love is so important. When you show love, even to strangers, it is contagious. When you are around your friends, show love. When you are around strangers, show love. When people see love in you, they see Me. Some don’t realize that they are seeing love. They just want to be around it. There is a pull toward someone who shows love. Ultimately, that is Me. Often, showing love to someone can change their day, even their life. You may never know the impact you have on someone when you show them love. So just be loving. This is part of letting them see Me in you.

In John 13:35, scripture teaches us: If you love one another, everyone will know you are my disciples.

So today, take a few minutes and ask yourself: Do others see God in me by the love I show them?
