Jesus First for Womenნიმუში

No Comparison
When we’re treading water in an ocean of difficulty, it can be challenging to remember that this moment in time will pass. Though we cannot avoid the distress that comes from living in a turbulent world, we will get through with the grace and strength of God’s presence carrying us. He is our lifeboat, the wind in our sails, and the most skilled captain imaginable.
Whatever you are facing today, keep going. Keep leaning on the everlasting hope of Jesus with you. Pray and ask for renewed hope. Ask for vision to catch a glimpse of the eternal weight of glory that is being prepared. There are far better things ahead than anything you leave behind.
Jesus, thank you for your promised presence with me in all things. Your Spirit is my guide, my help, and my strength. I lean on you. I depend on you to get me through life’s challenges, not unscathed, but growing in grace, love, and joy. Thank you.

About this Plan

Being alone with God to start the day was an example set by Jesus himself! He got up before daylight to pray in a solitary place. It was his way of connecting with the Father before doing anything else. As you quiet yourself before him and meditate on these devotions and Scriptures from "Jesus First for Women," experience the goodness of his presence and be refreshed with his perfect peace.
