Life may not play out the way we think it will, but God promises that He will guide us through it. Just because it may not look the way we like doesn’t mean that God is not in it. When we trust the Lord, and take delight in Him, our desires and passions change. Something may not have worked out the way you hoped for in the past. You may feel like there's no use in trying again. When the Bible says He will “give you the desires of your heart”, it does not always mean we get whatever we ask for, but it means that our trust and desire for God will be satisfied. God wants a deeper relationship with you. He wants to be your solid foundation so that you can be used in a big way. He’s done it before and He will do it again. His promises are guaranteed.
