Passion Week: The Resurrection and the Lifeნიმუში

The Rejection
Jesus came to sacrifice Himself and lay down His life so we might have forgiveness, freedom, and life through Him. His work on the cross doesn’t just affect our eternal souls, though. He didn’t come only to bring eternal life, which would have been enough, but new, abundant life. His sacrifice affects our life here on earth.
The sacrifice Jesus made wasn’t just death for life, but an exchange of everything we are or deserve for everything He is and deserves. He became weak so that we could be strong. He was beaten so we could be cared for. He was tortured so we could become healed. He was broken so that we could be made whole. He became sin so that we might become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
What do you need to exchange today? Are you sick or tired or afraid? Jesus offers you healing, strength, and courage. Do you need physical or mental healing? Jesus offers you wholeness and peace in this life. Ask God for what you need to exchange today. Jesus offers everything you need.
