Bringing Hope to Othersნიმუში

The Big Idea: Why is Sharing the Gospel Important?
Why is it important to share the gospel? Saying yes to Jesus means we are saying yes to who he is and the plans he has for us! A large part of this is sharing the gospel and the good news of what he has done with others! Matthew 28:18-20 says,
“Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
These are Jesus’s words! How could we hold something so incredible that could change someone’s life to ourselves? God sending His son is the answer and cure to a hurting and broken world. Talking to others about the gospel and what Jesus has done can be difficult, so over the next couple of days, we are going to talk through some practical ways to approach this!
God’s love and care for His children is not based on works, but on the grace he freely gives. This grace is extended to the hurting, and as His disciples we need to go out and continue spreading the gospel. If we keep the good news of who God is to ourselves, we are not fulfilling God's plan for our lives.
Challenge: Who are a couple of people on your heart who need to hear more about Jesus? Think of those people and spend some time in prayer for them today.
