Let's Grow in Confidence!ნიმუში

Do you lack confidence? 🤔
Did you know that people often throw away a lot of good stuff? My grandkids love to do treasure hunts in my garage. I must admit I’ve carried a few things around Canada and the USA for over 40 years. Yikes! My grandchildren think these things are so cool, just like I do. I often hear them say, “Papa, can we bring this home with us?” My answer is “Of course,” a big yes every time.
Do you ever accumulate junk? Oops, I mean cool stuff that others don’t appreciate? Well, I can tell you I was shocked when my own daughter divulged some heartbreaking information: “Dad, stop giving all your junk to my kids...I just throw it all away.” What? Horrors of horrors! I couldn’t believe she’d throw my treasures away.
Did you know that many throw away their confidence? The Bible says, “So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.” (Hebrews 10:35, NIV)
Have you ever lost confidence? Have you ever thrown it away? The church mentioned in Hebrews had just lost loved ones and had property confiscated. Times were tough, but they knew that confidence and endurance brought great reward. Hallelujah!
Hebrews 10:36 takes it a step further and says, “You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised.” (Hebrews 10:36, NIV)
Don’t throw away your confidence. Persevere so that you will be able to do the will of God and receive the promise.
Because you are a miracle.
