There's Hope For Todayნიმუში

I don’t think it’s by chance that John begins his gospel narrative with words that echo the first thought in Genesis. It is John’s conviction that Jesus brought all things to a new beginning. He records the dialog between Jesus and Nicodemus, dialog that centers on a man’s new birth in Christ (John 3:3-7). Genesis records the creation of the world. John records the creation of a new person in Christ. The first creation is a world in sharp decline.
The new creation is a life without end.
Genesis records the ordering of cosmos out of chaos. John records the issuing of life from death. Genesis sets redemption’s center stage. John records the play. Genesis begins with God and Adam. John begins with God in Christ. Genesis is paradise lost. John is paradise regained. Genesis is history. John is good news. Genesis is light to darkness. John is darkness to light. Genesis is truth that paints the backdrop. John is the Truth that makes men free. Genesis records Satan’s theft. John records heaven’s recovery. Genesis is the pollution of sin. John records the cleansing of Jesus’ blood.
God breathed into Adam and he rose to a temporary life. Christ died for Adam’s race and we now rise to eternal life, abundant and free.
