Follow Jesusნიმუში

"Love … rarely convenient"
The way of love isn’t necessarily easy. It will require us to adjust our schedules, change our priorities, and do things differently. It may require us to be a little uncomfortable, dirty, afraid, and out of our comfort zone. In Jesus’ story of the good Samaritan, the one who loved had to risk robbery himself, get blood and dirt on his clothes, absorb a delayed schedule, and fork out some money he certainly did not expect to spend on an injured foreigner. If you follow the way of love, next week is not likely to look much like this week! Are you ready?
Lord, I’m so committed to my own comfort and schedule I realize I’ve sometimes missed opportunities to help. It’s so easy just to walk by. I’m so busy, so preoccupied. Forgive me, Father. Open my eyes and heart to be alert in helping those you brought my way. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
