Week One: The Invitation to Pray

GO2020 is focused on mobilizing canopies of prayer across the nation—we recognize that we are totally dependent on God. He is the One who supplies the power to witness, the strength to love, and the motivation to bring Christ glory.

This week we will discover the incredible invitation of God, the Creator of the universe, for us to be people of prayer. We will do this by using some of the principles of Discovery Bible Study. It Teaches us not only to know the Word, but to obey it, let it change us and share it with others. Using this format will also equip us to lead others in discovery of God through his Word.

Memorize

Read this week’s memory verses, Hebrews 4:14-16. You’ll be working on memorizing these verses throughout the week. Today, simply read them and rest.
