Family

Family is God’s grand plan to inherit His values from one generation to the next. Family forms our identity, values of life, habits, and ethics. Therefore, we need to reflect on our lives and reimagine family. What have we learned all of this time? Why do we have certain habits? Is there anything that we need to change?

We can’t choose our family, but we can choose the kind of family we are going to build. Other than that, as believers, we are part of God’s family with the other believers, as the church of God. Healthy families will form strong cities, and strong cities will make a great nation and generation. When we decide to build our family according to God’s will and on the foundation of His truth, we contribute in building a great nation and generation.

Let’s take a look at the role that we have in our family today. Are we parents, or children? No matter what our role is, let’s build a family where God’s love is evident; where there is openness, forgiveness, and peace within.
