MOTION X: Living In MOTIONნიმუში

Have you ever lost something of value? Losing something that matters to you can be frustrating, especially when you end up finding it in plain sight. 

In John 17, Jesus prayed His final prayer before He died on the cross for the world He loved so much. Jesus could have prayed for anything, yet He chose to pray for us. 

The prayer was not that we would memorize more scripture or pray for hours on end. Instead, Jesus prayed that we would receive what we needed most. He prayed love would be in us. The same love that God the Father had for Jesus is the same love that He loves us with. God has the same love for His perfect Son as He does for us.

Often times, we get frustrated and angry because we are trying to earn a love that God has already given to us. We look for love like it is lost, but it has been there the entire time. 

Today as you go through your day, know that the Heavenly Father has not forgotten you or abandoned you, but that He loves you with the same love that He has for Jesus.
