In the Bible, Jesus tells us that the second greatest commandment is to love our neighbor as ourselves. So the question we have to ask ourselves is this: Who is our neighbor? Because we live in a global society, we not only have our physical neighbors that live in our homes or communities, but we also have our global neighbors that live all around the world. Don’t forget that just as much as God called you to love those people you know and interact with everyday, He also called you to love the neighbors of the world that you may never meet. This week, start by praying for those people all over the world, especially those that may be experiencing a difficult time right now. Pray that those who don’t know God’s love around the world would come to know and experience it for themselves.
