The Miracles of Jesus devotional series invites us to encounter the living Christ through His powerful works and personal compassion. From the empty tomb to storms on the sea and the feeding of the multitudes, we see that Jesus meets us in doubt, need, and uncertainty. These devotionals remind us that faith grows as we draw near to Jesus, bring Him what we have, and walk in obedience. Lent is a season to slow down, pay attention, and bear witness to the story God is telling.

This reading plan follows the rhythm of the lectionary, inviting you each day into three voices of Scripture: an Old Testament reading from Jeremiah, a New Testament reading from the Gospel of Mark, and a Psalm to close in prayer.

Jeremiah calls God’s people to return. Mark offers the earliest written witness to the gospel as Jesus walks toward the cross. May this season shape us into attentive witnesses—listening closely and walking faithfully with Christ.

Mark uses the word “immediately” over forty times in his Gospel, emphasizing the intentional nature of Jesus’ ministry. The quick succession of healings and miracles shows that Jesus “came not to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many” (Mark 10:44). Through Mark’s Gospel, we are reminded that true greatness in God’s kingdom comes not through selfish ambition, but by being the servant of all.
