Lent & Easter

Over the next forty days we will journey together through the Gospel of Matthew that we might center our hearts on Jesus.  Each day of Lent will include a short video devotional (4-7 minutes) given by one of our church members at the City Church Beijing International Christian Fellowship.

It is our hope that these devotionals will remind us of who Jesus is and why He came. 

Worship Him

Take a deep dive into the words of the world's most-loved choral work, Handel's Messiah - all taken from the Bible. Messiah tells the story of God’s plan for the world, the promise of Messiah - Jesus - in the Old Testament, His coming in the Gospels, and His sacrifice so you may have eternal life. Grow in your faith journey as you reflect on the references to Messiah throughout the Bible. Hallelujah!

Come to the Garden: Focusing on Jesus 

The Lent Project is an initiative of Biola University's Center for Christianity, Culture and the Arts. Each daily devotion includes a portion of Scripture, a devotional, a prayer, a work of visual art or a video, a piece of music, and a poem plus brief commentaries on the artworks and artists. The Seven Last Words of Christ refers to the seven short phrases uttered by Jesus on the cross, as gathered from the four Christian gospels. This devotional project connects word, image, voice and song into daily meditations on these words.
