You did it: you changed wild lament into whirling dance; You ripped off my black mourning band and decked me with wildflowers. I’m about to burst with song; I can’t keep quiet about you. GOD, my God, I can’t thank you enough.

Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: Thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness

You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness

You changed my sorrow into dancing. You took away my clothes of sadness, and clothed me in happiness.

Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing; Thou hast loosed my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness

You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy

You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness

Then he broke through and transformed all my wailing into a whirling dance of ecstatic praise! He has torn the veil and lifted from me the sad heaviness of mourning. He wrapped me in the glory-garments of gladness.
