Fearing DeathIhe Nhụchatụ

Embracing Eternal Life
In a world obsessed with preserving life at all costs, Jesus challenges us to reconsider what it means to truly live. He tells us that in losing our lives for His sake, we discover what life is truly about. Reflect on John 11:25-26, where Jesus declares Himself the resurrection and the life. This declaration invites us not just to look forward to eternity but to embrace the eternal life that starts now.
Consider how your life can be more intentionally centered around eternal values. What does it mean to walk confidently in the knowledge that physical death is but a transition to a greater existence with God? Allow this to inspire you to live without fear, pursuing love, justice, and truth boldly, knowing these are the values of God's kingdom.
Think about ways you can invest in things that have eternal significance—relationships, acts of kindness, sharing your faith—knowing these ripple into eternity. How can you share the hope and assurance you have with those around you?
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I embrace the life You offer, trusting in Your promise of resurrection and eternal joy. Guide my steps as I live in light of eternity, making choices that honor You and reflect Your kingdom. Help me to boldly share this hope with the people I encounter, so they, too, may know the freedom and joy of living in You. Amen.

Are we truly free from the fear of death? Hebrews 2 reminds us that Jesus shared in our humanity to break the power of death and the one who wielded it. His resurrection removes death’s sting, offering not fear but hope. In Christ, death becomes a doorway to eternal joy. This truth transforms our perspective, freeing us to live boldly, love deeply, and serve selflessly. When fear no longer holds us captive, we can embrace each day with purpose, trusting that our future is secure in Him.
