Mary Magdalene's Journey: 'Being Called' (Part 1)Ihe Nhụchatụ

Called to Share
The call of Jesus doesn’t end with Mary Magdalene and the disciples—it continues through us: we are sent just as much as they were! Just like Mary Magdalene, you and I are equally eligible to be called, healed, sent, and carry the message of hope. We don’t need to have all the answers. We just need to share what we’ve seen and heard. It doesn’t specifically say so in the Bible, but it is likely that Mary Magdalene was present when, in Matthew 28, Jesus commissions His disciples: “Go and make disciples of all nations.”
Jesus’ message of hope and salvation was never a private faith–to keep to yourself. It was and is a living story in actual lives today–fit and meant to be shared all over the world. Our calling isn’t complete until it emulates invitation. We are not the end of the good news, we’re the messengers–the ambassadors of Christ in the world. And every story of grace deserves to be told, including yours.
Jesus didn’t send the disciples alone. He promised His presence: “I am with you always.” Sharing our faith isn’t about performance—it’s about overflow. When we’ve truly encountered Jesus, something in us wants others to know. We speak from experience. We serve from gratitude. And through our lives, others catch a glimpse of the One who calls them too.
Today, ask Jesus where He’s sending you. Maybe it’s across the street. Maybe it’s across the table. Maybe it’s into a conversation you’ve been avoiding. He’s not asking you to be perfect—just available. Called people become sent people.
Who in your life needs to hear that they are seen, known, and called by Jesus?
