Day 1: God Is With You
Read: Isaiah 41:8-13

Just in case you are wondering, in those times of fear, God is not only with you; He is holding you up. You are not alone, sweet friend. I'm sure you've found yourself wondering, "Is God really with me?" at times. Maybe it was a diagnosis that brought you to your knees or a sudden broken relationship that you didn't see coming. Perhaps it was a sudden change that left your heart shattered and your mind racing. Life has a way of shaking us to our core, and we are reminded daily that we live in a broken world. But even in those moments, we must cling to God's promises...we are never alone.
God is directly speaking to the fears He knows we are facing, in Isaiah 41:10. He is a loving Father who reminds us again and again that we are not alone, so we do not need to fear. He doesn't shame us for being afraid—He is aware of our struggles and times of fear. And because of this knowledge, He promises to strengthen us when we feel weak, to help us when we don't know where to turn, and to hold us up on the days...or seasons when we feel like falling apart.
Isaiah 41:10 is a promise we can cling to. We may not be able to control the world around us, but we can trust the One who holds it all together. So take heart, sweet friend, no matter what you're facing today, God is with you. Let that promise seep down into your heart and mind and strengthen you.
He IS your strength. He IS your help. He IS holding you up. You are NOT alone!
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the promise that I am not alone, as the struggles of my life seem to overwhelm me at times and cloud my mind and heart. When I feel afraid and overwhelmed, help me remember You are with me. Strengthen me today and remind me that I don't walk alone. You ARE with me, and that's a promise. Amen.
