Where Would I Be: A 5-Day Devotional With Peter BurtonIhe Nhụchatụ

Where would I be if I didn’t have grace?
Grace can be defined as “not getting what we deserve” or “unmerited favor.” Grace allows us to step into the life God always designed for us to live through salvation in Jesus. It’s by this grace that we have been saved. It cannot be earned; it is only a gift that can be freely given. When we choose to give our lives to Jesus, we receive this amazing gift called grace.
As believers, it’s important that we not only receive grace, but also that we in turn offer grace to those around us. When we show others grace, we reflect the image of Jesus. Think of how powerful it is when you freely offer compassion or kindness to someone who does not deserve it from you!
When we see how grace and mercy go hand in hand and begin to understand the depth of what God has done for us through Jesus, we can’t help but be overwhelmed with gratitude for His love.
Can you imagine where’d you be right now in life without God’s grace?
That’s a scary reality to imagine, but thank God you’ll never know.
