God’s Eternal Reign
1The Lord reigns! He is robed in majesty;
The Lord is robed, enveloped in strength.
The world is firmly established;

2Your throne has been established
from the beginning; # Lit from then
You are from eternity. # Ps 9:7; 90:2; 103:19
3The floods have lifted up, Lord,
the floods have lifted up their voice;
the floods lift up their pounding waves. # Ps 96:11; 98:7-8
4Greater than the roar of many waters —
the mighty breakers of the sea —
the Lord on high is majestic. # Ps 65:7; 89:9; Ezk 43:2
5Lord, Your testimonies are completely reliable; # Ps 19:7
holiness is the beauty of # Or holiness characterizes Your house
for all the days to come. # Ps 29:2; 96:9
