Li meprize tout moun Bondye vire do bay,
men, li respekte tout moun ki gen krentif pou Senyè a.
Li toujou kenbe pawòl li, menm si sa koute l chè.

Il méprise celui qui agit mal,
mais il honore ceux qui respectent le SEIGNEUR.
Même s’il fait une promesse difficile à tenir, il la tient.

who despises a vile person
but honors those who fear the LORD;
who keeps an oath even when it hurts,
and does not change their mind

Il méprise l’homme vil,
mais il honore celui ╵qui craint l’Eternel.
Il tient toujours ses serments ╵même s’il doit en pâtir.
