Ezayi 55:1-7 New International Version (NIV)
“Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare. Give ear and come to me; listen, that you may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David. See, I have made him a witness to the peoples, a ruler and commander of the peoples. Surely you will summon nations you know not, and nations you do not know will come running to you, because of the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has endowed you with splendor.” Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.

N'a pran plezi nou nan manje bon kalite manje. Louvri zòrèy nou. Vin jwenn mwen. Koute byen sa m'ap di nou, n'a jwenn lavi. M'ap siyen yon kontra ak nou pou tout tan. M'a ban nou benediksyon mwen te pwomèt David yo. Gade. Mwen te fè l chèf pou l te kòmande nasyon yo. Mwen te fè l sèvi m temwen nan mitan yo. Gade, ou pral rele nasyon ou pat konnen. Nasyon ki pat konnen ou pral kouri vin jwenn ou. Se mwen menm, Senyè a, Bondye ou la, Bondye apa pèp Izrayèl la, k'ap fè sa rive konsa, paske m'ap leve ou anlè. Tounen vin jwenn Senyè a, pandan nou ka jwenn li an. Lapriyè nan pye l pandan li toupre nou an. Se pou mechan yo kite move chemen y'ap swiv la. « Vous tous qui avez soif, voici de l’eau, venez ! Même si vous n’avez pas d’argent, venez ! Achetez à manger, c’est gratuit. Venez, achetez du vin et du lait sans argent. Pourquoi dépenser de l’argent pour quelque chose qui ne nourrit pas ? Pourquoi vous fatiguer pour quelque chose qui ne rassasie pas ? Écoutez-moi bien, alors vous aurez de bonnes choses à manger, vous goûterez des choses délicieuses. Tendez l’oreille et venez vers moi. Écoutez, et vous vivrez. » Le SEIGNEUR dit : « Je ferai avec vous une alliance qui durera toujours. Je vous assure pour toujours les bienfaits que j’ai promis à David. J’avais fait de lui un témoin de mon pouvoir pour les peuples, un chef qui commande des populations. Toi aussi, Israël, tu feras appel à des peuples inconnus, et ces étrangers qui ne te connaissent pas se dépêcheront de venir vers toi. Ils viendront à cause de moi, le SEIGNEUR ton Dieu, le Dieu saint d’Israël, qui veux t’honorer. » Cherchez le SEIGNEUR pendant qu’il se laisse trouver. Faites appel à lui pendant qu’il est près de vous. Les gens mauvais doivent abandonner leur conduite. Celui qui fait le mal doit abandonner ses pensées méchantes. Tous doivent revenir vers le SEIGNEUR, car il aura pitié d’eux. Tous doivent revenir vers notre Dieu, car il pardonne généreusement.

Pourquoi dépensez-vous ╵votre argent pour payer ce qui ne nourrit pas ? Pourquoi travaillez-vous pour une nourriture ╵qui ne rassasie pas ? Ecoutez, oui, écoutez-moi, alors vous mangerez ╵ce qui est bon, vous vous délecterez ╵d’aliments savoureux. Tendez l’oreille, ╵venez à moi, écoutez-moi ╵et vous vivrez. Car je conclurai avec vous ╵une alliance éternelle, j’accomplirai pour vous ╵avec fidélité ╵les œuvres bienveillantes ╵que j’ai promises à David. Voici, j’ai fait de lui ╵un témoin pour les peuples, un chef pour commander aux peuples. Oui, tu appelleras ╵une nation que tu ne connais pas ; une nation qui ne te connaît pas ╵va accourir vers toi ; c’est à cause de moi, ╵moi, l’Eternel ton Dieu, moi, le Saint d’Israël, qui te couvre de gloire. Tournez-vous donc vers l’Eternel, tant qu’on peut le trouver. Adressez-vous à lui tant qu’il est proche ! Que le coupable ╵abandonne sa voie, et l’homme malfaisant ╵ses mauvaises pensées ! Et qu’il revienne à l’Eternel qui aura compassion de lui, à notre Dieu qui lui accordera ╵un pardon généreux.
