— Se mwen menm, Senyè a, Bondye nou an, ki te fè nou sòti nan peyi Lejip kote nou te esklav la.
Piga nou gen lòt bondye pase mwen menm selman.

« Je suis le SEIGNEUR ton Dieu. C’est moi qui t’ai fait sortir d’Égypte, où tu étais esclave.
« Tu ne dois pas avoir d’autres dieux que moi.

“I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
“You shall have no other gods before me.

Je suis l’Eternel ton Dieu qui t’ai fait sortir d’Egypte, du pays où tu étais esclave.
Tu n’auras pas d’autre dieu que moi.
