Ou menm, leve baton ou lan. Lonje men ou sou lanmè a, fann li de bò. Konsa, moun pèp Izrayèl yo va mache nan mitan lanmè a tankou sou tè sèk.

Toi, prends ton bâton et lève-le sur la mer. Ouvre ainsi un passage pour que les Israélites avancent au milieu de la mer sur un chemin sec.

Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground.

Quant à toi, lève ton bâton, tends la main vers la mer, fends-la en deux et les Israélites la traverseront à pied sec.
