And I will make of you a great nation. And I will bless you and make your name great. And you shall be a blessing. And I will bless those that bless you and curse the one who curses you. And in you shall all families of the earth be blessed.”

And the LORD said to Abram, “Get out of your country, and from your kindred, and from your father’s house into a land that I will show you.

Then Abram departed, even as the LORD had spoken to him. And Lot went with him. And Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran.

And the LORD appeared to Abram and said, “I will give this land to your seed.” And he built an altar there to the LORD, Who had appeared to him.
