because the sorrow according to Hashem is bring about repentance to salvation, not to the regret; the sorrow however of the world is bring about the death.

therefore, having the these promises, beloved, let us ourselves cleanse of every defilement of the flesh and of the spirit, perfecting to do holiness in the fear of Hashem.

now rejoice I me, not because you (PL) were grieved, but because you (PL) were grieved to repentance; for you (PL) are grieved become according to Hashem, so that you (PL) shall not to suffer harm through us in any thing.
