Bringing Down High Things

DAY 4 OF 5

CAPTURING EVERY THOUGHT

Not every thought deserves freedom. Scripture instructs us to take thoughts captive, not entertain them.

Kenneth Hagin had a way of showing this. He says, you cannot stop a bird from flying over your head, but you can stop it from perching on your head.

Thoughts will come. But you decide which linger!

Captivity does not mean suppression; it means submission to Christ. When thoughts are brought under His authority, peace becomes sustainable. Transformation happens as the mind is renewed daily.

A disciplined mind is a protected mind.
GUARD IT!

Reflection

  • Which thoughts drain my peace most often?
  • What does it look like to submit them to Christ?

Prayer

Holy Spirit, train my mind to think in alignment with heaven.

Declaration

My thoughts obey Christ. My mind is renewed.
