Seek First 365: A One Year Bible Reading Plan for Daily Devotionનમૂનો

Reflection:
- In Jesus’ time, a divorced woman was left with little opportunity to thrive in society and was vulnerable to poverty, injustice and abuse. What do the Pharisees specifically ask regarding divorce, and what does it reveal about their desire for justice and compassion?
- How did the disciples respond to parents who attempted to have their children blessed by Jesus, and what does that reveal about the way they viewed the children?
- How does Jesus respond to the disciples’ behavior in verses 14-16, and what does that teach you about the posture God desires us to have toward God and others?
Pray and Apply:
Write down in your Seek First Journal the positive qualities that come to mind when thinking about the mindset of young children. Think about how these same qualities apply to developing a childlike faith. Circle the attribute that challenges your faith the most at the moment. Spend a couple of minutes praying that the Holy Spirit would help you develop this characteristic in your faith.

About this Plan

Seek First 365 is a one-year Bible reading plan designed to help you build a daily rhythm of reading Scripture, meditating on God’s Word, praying, and journaling. Instead of rushing through several chapters each day, Seek First 365 invites you to slow down and focus on a single passage—or even part of a chapter. The goal isn’t speed, but transformation. Each day is crafted to help you linger in God’s Word, listen to the Spirit, and let His truth shape your heart, mind, and life.
