Scientific evidence that the Bible is true exists!
The books of Leviticus and Deuteronomy contain many hygiene and public health laws that reflect an advanced understanding of germs, infections, cleanliness, and quarantine. Keep in mind that these books of the Bible were written thousands of years before mankind discovered germs, bacteria, or viruses.
Leviticus 13:4 gives quarantine procedures for contagious diseases. Leviticus 13:47-52 instructs people to avoid contact with contaminated items. Leviticus 15:11 gives instructions for hand washing. Deuteronomy 23:12-13 gives instructions for a sanitary way to dispose of waste.
Passages like these demonstrate that the Author had a vast understanding of germs and infections, thousands of years before they were discovered by scientists. This knowledge of germs is more evidence that God is the Author of the Bible, because only the Creator of everything could understand, with precise knowledge, the way things work on the cellular and molecular level.
Because God wrote the Bible, we can trust it to build our lives on what it says!
