Shabach (שָׁבַח) - To shout or declare boldly

“One generation shall praise (shabach) Your works to another and declare Your mighty acts” (Psalm 145:4).

Shabach means to shout or declare with a loud voice. It’s the sound of confidence, faith, and victory. It’s the kind of praise that breaks through fear and reminds your soul who’s in control.

Think of the walls of Jericho, the people didn’t whisper their praise; they shouted. That shout was more than noise—it was faith in action. Shabach reminds us that worship isn’t meant to be silent or private.

It’s a declaration that says, “God is faithful!”

Sometimes, your shout isn’t about volume—it’s about boldness. It’s about refusing to let what’s against you silence what’s within you.
