God of the Ordinary

Jesus, the Saviour of the world, was born not in splendour but in simplicity. God chose an ordinary young woman, an ordinary town, and an ordinary manger to reveal His extraordinary love. The same God who worked through their everyday lives continues to use ordinary people to do extraordinary things. As we pause and look around, may we know that even our ordinary spaces are sacred when God is present in them.
