True & Beautiful Things About the Bible--New Testamentનમૂનો

It’s Just the Beginning
We’ve come to the end of our study, but as we’ve said, it’s only the beginning.
Now that you see how the books fit together, you can take the next step on your own in this discovery of true and beautiful things in the Bible.
Go back and pick a book that sounded interesting to you and dive deep in. Study it for a while, then pick another book. Read it every day for a month. Listen to sermons or instructions on the book (Bibleproject.com, oneplace.com), and repeat that for the rest of your life. Every time you study it, you’ll learn something new.
Really? How is that possible? Because the Bible is alive.
- Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the word of God is living and active.” It’s able to get to the heart of what we think or feel and impacts what we do.
- 2 Peter 1:3 says God has given us what we need in His Word and by His Spirit to live a dynamic spiritual life as we grow in our understanding of who Jesus is.
- 1 Timothy 3:15-16 says that God’s Word helps us discern what is right, what’s not right, how to get it right, and how to stay right.
Ask God to help you understand His Word, and He will. Listen for His voice as you read. Decide beforehand that you will believe what it says. As you do that, God’s Word will calm your fears. It will clear your head. It will comfort your heart and correct your walk. Invite God to show you just how true and beautiful His Word is.
Ask 100 people why they love the Bible, and it’s a good bet their eyes will light up, and most will say: I love the Bible because it tells me about Jesus.
It’s true—the better we know the Bible, the more clearly we will know Jesus, “whom to know is life eternal.” (John 17:3).
May nothing in life be more beautiful to you than Him.
