The Fight to Find Yourselfનમૂનો

Day 3: Treasure Within
Scripture:
2 Corinthians 4:7 (KJV) — “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.”
Devotional:
At the core of who you are, beneath the surface, lies a treasure placed there by God Himself. Paul reminds us that our true identity is not defined by outer strength, appearance, or perfection. It is defined by the presence of God’s power within us.
Yes, we are jars of clay — fragile, temporary, imperfect. But that doesn’t make us worthless. It makes the treasure stand out all the more. What gives you value is not your container, but the priceless gift you carry.
Part of the fight to find yourself is recognizing that your worth does not come from what others see, what you achieve, or even how polished you appear. Your worth is anchored in what God has placed inside of you. Your cracks don’t disqualify you. They make the treasure shine all the brighter.
Reflection Question:
When you think about your true identity, do you focus more on your “jar of clay” or on the treasure within? How might shifting your perspective change the way you see yourself?
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for placing Your treasure within me. Help me to stop defining myself by my weaknesses or limitations, and instead, embrace the truth that my value comes from You.
