Glorious Trust
I am the LORD; that is my name; my glory I give to no other, nor my praise to carved idols. (Isaiah 42:8)
Abba, my glorious Father, I am in awe that I was created for Your glory.
Your Word calls me to honor You and revere Your name, for seeking praise for myself is idolatry. No idol can match Your presence, kindness, and guidance, which transform my life with Your boundless love and power.
Forgive my pride and self-focus and guide me to live to reflect your greatness. Help me to trust You and to flee from idols.
Fill me with Your Spirit, that my thoughts, words, and deeds will shine today as Your light.
May I live today in humble devotion, glorifying You in all I do, that You might use me to draw others to Your glory.
