What is God whispering to your heart right now?

Salvation isn’t just a fact to be understood, it’s a reality to be experienced. It is often the case that we know it intellectually but haven’t let it sink deeply into our souls. Today, take time to soak in the truth that Christ’s work has secured your freedom, your hope, your peace. Let it anchor your heart.

Imagine how life could feel if you truly grasped how deeply and securely saved you are. Would you worry less about what others think? Approach each day with more gratitude? Pause more often to thank God for His goodness?

Paul’s words in today’s passage capture the awe this brings: “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! He has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ” (Ephesians 1:3). The riches of God’s grace have been lavished upon you (verses 7 and 8)! Think of the joy of a parent who sees a child rescued from danger, overflowing relief, gratitude, and awe. This is the response our souls are meant to have as we contemplate God’s redemption.

Take a moment to let it settle.

Think about the mistakes you regret, and remember you are forgiven. Think about the regrets that weigh on your heart and remind yourself that the slate is clean. Think about the life ahead and embrace the hope God gives. Think about eternity and rejoice: you will be there with Jesus.

God’s salvation is not distant. It’s real. It’s yours. Treasure it. Celebrate it. And let that joy spill over into the lives of everyone around you.

Prayer

Dear God, help me let Your grace sink into my soul, to embrace forgiveness, release regrets, and live each day anchored in Your love. Fill my heart with awe and gratitude, and let that joy overflow into every part of my life. May I treasure Your redemption, celebrate Your goodness, and reflect Your grace to those around me.

I pray that every truth you have encountered: His grace, His redemption, His mercy, and His love, takes root in your heart and transforms the way you see yourself and the world around you.
