Day 8: Drawing Near to God

Along with a slew of questions, I often wondered why God allowed me to go through such a life altering experience. However, in the midst of all these questions, I made a pivotal decision as I navigated this experience: to seek the truth in God's Word.

God had not forsaken me, even when it felt like He had. He was actively working out all things for my good, and embracing this truth was a game-changer. Processing this experience required a lot of patience, introspection, and perseverance, but eventually, I made it through. Thankfully I was not alone, as God placed people around me, including a wonderful counselor, who also walked with me on this journey.

As you draw near to God, remember that He is coming near to you too!
