What the Bible Says About Christmas - 31 Days of Meditationsનમૂનો

Gifts from God (part 1)
If you knew the gift of God … But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.
(God) has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. I know that there is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they live. That everyone may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all his toil—this is the gift of God. I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that men will revere him.
Then I realized that it is good and proper for a man to eat and drink, and to find satisfaction in his toilsome labor under the sun during the few days of life God has given him—for this is his lot. Moreover, when God gives any man wealth and possessions, and enables him to enjoy them, to accept his lot and be happy in his work—this is a gift of God.
Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.
Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him.
Jesus replied, “Not everyone can accept this word, but only those to whom it has been given.” …The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. Whoever has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.
Jh 4:10, Ep 4:7, Ec 3:11-14, Ec 5:18-19, 1Pe 3:7, Ps 127:3, Mt 19:11, Mt 13:11-12
All verses in each devotion are quoted from the New International Version, 2011.
