Romans: A 30 Day Visitનમૂનો

I imagine that when Paul wrote this section and it was read aloud in Rome, the Christians there had some questions. The Roman rule was harsh and taxing. Paul was calling the believers to submit to these authorities.
Why do you think this is the plan?
What do you think it means when Paul says that the existing authorities have been established by God?
Paul goes on to explain that this is why we pay taxes, and why we obey laws like the speed limit.
How do you think that this grows our trust in God?

About this Plan

Paul's letter to the church in Rome is packed! He is helping this new church establish a vision for what it looks like to be citizens of God's Kingdom. There is doctrine to learn and live by, as well as wisdom for living life in ways that accurately reflect the King. As we take the trip together over the next month, we too see that what we believe, always influences how we live.
