Reflection:
Young people are not waiting to become the church someday—they are the church now. When we entrust them with leadership, even in small ways, we affirm that God works powerfully through them today. Handing them “the keys” to meaningful responsibility shows that we trust the Spirit at work within them. They will stumble and grow. But through real leadership opportunities, they will begin to embody the faith they profess. Leadership isn’t about control; it’s about accompaniment—walking beside young people as they discover how to serve with courage, humility, and grace.
