Day 2: God Will Deliver You

Scripture
“He also brought me out into a broad place; He delivered me because He delighted in me. The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness; According to the cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me.” – Psalm 18:19-20 NKJV

Affirmation
God will deliver me from anything not of Him.

Devotion
Psalm 18 is such a powerful passage of deliverance. In it, David pours out gratitude to God for rescuing him from his enemies. Just as David trusted God’s promises, you too can rest assured that the Lord is faithful to deliver you, not only from enemies but also from every trial, burden, and hidden battle you may face today.

This scripture reminds us of two truths: God delivers us, and He also rewards us. After bringing us through hardship, He restores and repays us for what we have endured. What a powerful promise to hold on to!

Take a moment today to affirm that God is delivering you. Whatever you are facing—whether it’s a secret sin, financial challenge, heartbreak, disappointment, or stronghold—trust that God is bringing you out into a broad place, free and restored.

Prayer
Abba Father,

I ask You to deliver me from [state what you need deliverance from]. Draw me out of anything that is not of You and set my feet in the place You have prepared for me. You are my strength and my refuge, and I put my full trust in You. Lord, I also ask that You restore and reward me for all I have endured. I thank You in advance for Your faithfulness and declare that You are my Deliverer in every trial. It is in Jesus Christ’s name, I pray. Amen.
