Rebuilt Faith

DAY 15 OF 30

Day 15: A Legacy of Generosity

Our giving does not end with us; it shapes the generations that follow. Like Abraham, who became the father of faith, our acts of obedience create ripples of blessing for our families and communities.

One couple in our community shared with us how they sacrificed financially to support a parish capital campaign. They gave up vacations and comforts, but then God provided for them in surprising ways. Their children saw their example and learned what it meant to trust God with resources. Their legacy is not just financial - it is spiritual.

When we tithe and give, we are building more than budgets. We are building faith, character, and witness. Our money follows our heart, and when our hearts are aligned with God, our giving becomes a testimony of His goodness. This is the legacy we leave: lives shaped by generosity, faith, and trust in God’s unfailing provision.

Questions

  • What legacy of generosity do you want to leave for those who follow you?
  • How can your giving today be an example of faith for others?

About this Plan

Rebuilt Faith

Rebuilt Faith will help you take daily steps to grow as a disciple of Christ. Inspired by the book by Fr. Michael White and Tom Corcoran, this plan invites you to reflect on who Jesus is and why He is worth following. Through the STEPS of discipleship—Serve, Tithe and Give, Engage, Practice, and Share—you’ll discover practical ways to live your faith: serving others, trusting God’s provision, building authentic community, deepening prayer, and sharing the Gospel. Each devotional is designed to draw you closer to Christ and inspire you to take your next step in faith.
