10 Qualities of Influential Christiansનમૂનો

Day 6 – They are Increasing in Competence in Their Areas of Influence
Devotional:
Influential Christians pursue growth—not just spiritually, but also in the skills and knowledge needed for their specific areas of service. Daniel stood out in Babylon because he was “ten times better” in wisdom and understanding than others (Daniel 1:20). His influence flowed not only from his faithfulness to God, but also from the excellence with which he served.
This pursuit of competence starts with knowing God deeply. The more you know Him, the more you realize there’s still more to learn. But it also extends to stewarding your gifts, talents, and opportunities well. When you invest in growing your skills, your credibility and influence expand, opening doors for Kingdom impact.
Scripture: Daniel 1:20 – “In every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king questioned them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters in his whole kingdom.”
Discussion Question:
What’s one way you can grow in competence this week in the area God has called you to influence?
Prayer:
Lord, help me to serve You with excellence. Give me a hunger to grow in wisdom, understanding, and skill so that my work honors You and blesses others. Amen.
