Battle Ready: Standing Strong in God’s Strengthનમૂનો

Day 2: Put On the Armor
No soldier would dream of walking into battle without protection, yet many of us walk into each day spiritually unprepared. That’s why Paul urges us to “put on the full armor of God” (Ephesians 6:13, NIV). Each piece is designed with purpose: the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shoes of peace, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and sword of the Spirit.
The armor represents more than imagery—it’s your spiritual clothing. Truth grounds you when lies come. Righteousness protects your heart from compromise. Peace steadies you in chaos. Faith shields you from fiery darts of doubt or fear. Salvation secures your identity in Christ. And the Word of God gives you the only offensive weapon needed to fight back.
Putting on the armor is intentional. Each morning, whisper a prayer as you get dressed physically: “Lord, today I put on Your armor. Clothe me in truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and Your Word.”
The armor protects you and prepares you to advance. The enemy will come against you, but armed in Christ, you can stand firm. Don’t leave home without your armor.
About this Plan

Life brings battles, sometimes daily ones, but God has not left us defenseless. This five-day devotional, drawn from Summer Little’s book Battle Ready, will equip you to recognize the enemy’s schemes, claim God’s promises, and fight from a place of faith, not fear.
