The Best Mealનમૂનો

The Host
Dear Guest of Honor, since you have accepted the invitation to partake of the best meal, allow me to introduce your Host.
After all, some good company while eating makes a huge difference, isn't it? (Personally, I'm not a big fan of eating alone.)
Imagine how it would be to eat together with an unpleasant person. The meal itself becomes an unpleasant experience... There's that temptation to just take your plate and look for another place to finish eating. Or, maybe, to try and eat as fast as possible, so you can leave as soon as possible. Sometimes, an unpleasant company can even make you lose your appetite altogether.... Not to mention that each minute sitting at the table just feels like an eternity!
On the other hand, when we are in good company, the whole experience becomes so very pleasant! You are not in a rush to finish eating. On the contrary, when it ends, you realize that it's much later than you had imagined, and that time had slipped by without your notice.
In short, in order to really enjoy the "best meal", it's relevant to be in good company. And, in this case, your plus-one to this "best meal" is the Host, himself - the One who issued this invite for you to be the Guest of Honor.
As you will see in the Scripture of John 4:6-7, Jesus was the one who took the initiative and started the conversation.
Of course, He started the conversation with a request. However, implied in His simple request was an invitation to a much deeper conversation.
When Jesus asked for a sip of water, He invited the Samaritan woman to a much more substantial meal.
The woman didn't realize, but (just like you), she had just arrived to a lunch date with Jesus...
